Last week one of our CSA members and her very young grandson, and her dog, were attacked by a mink near the raspberry patch. It is so crazy sounding that it might seem comical, but it was not funny at all for those involved. No one was hurt, except for the mink who after chasing them back to the parking lot was hit by a car. We are not particularly worried that we have a mink infestation. But it was a reminder that the farm is a wild place and we have to be aware of that especially when youngsters are exploring.

Be careful out there!
